CSM Mary Sutherland – Army Quartermaster Foundation, Inc.

 Command Sergeant Major Sutherland’s key assignments include: sixteen years of overseas service; the Senior Enlisted Adviser, Fort Ord, California; Command Sergeant Major, 22^nd Support Group, Vicenza, Italy; Command Sergeant Major, Division Support Command, 1^st Armored Division, Germany; and the Command Sergeant Major, Corps of Cadets and the Academy, West Point, New York. CSM Sutherland was the first female to serve as the Command Sergeant Major, Senior Enlisted Advisor at West Point Military Academy in New York. This fact is proven by her selection and successful completion of assignments in premier organizations in the Army – assignments the Army entrust only to their best and brightest Soldiers. CSM Sutherland always rewarded their confidence by delivering consistently superior results under the toughest of conditions. Her career and life accomplishments and contributions are textbook examples of “duty, honor, and country!”
